Around 18 months ago, our lives changed forever when my dad was diagnosed with cancer.

In February this year, we lost him — and nothing could have prepared me for that kind of heartbreak. Losing him has been incredibly hard, and I miss him every day.

To honour him, Wari and I are running the 2026 Royal Parks Half Marathon this October. I want to do something that would make him proud, just like he made me proud every single day.
