#TeamMND - London Marathon 2025

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
To all my family, friends and people wishing to support me.
On April 27th, I’m taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in memory of my dear Uncle Malc who, in 2013, sadly passed away after a short battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Uncle Malc was a very special, kind-hearted person in my life who played a huge role in my upbringing. It was a devastating journey for him and our family to experience and I am therefore determined to raise awareness and funds so that others don’t have to go through the same heartache.
MND is a relentless and devastating disease that affects the body’s motor neurons, leading to loss of movement, speech, and eventually the ability to breathe. There is currently no cure, and the progress of the disease is tragically rapid.
I want to honour my Uncle’s memory by supporting the vital work of MND Association, who are striving for better treatments, and ultimately a cure.
Your generous donations will go towards funding research and supporting those living with MND, as well as their families. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and bring us one step closer to finding a cure.
Thank you so much for your support. This run is for Uncle Malc and for everyone affected by MND.
