Story
One person in four in the UK will experience a mental health problem at some point during their life, a disproportionate amount of those people are from the North East region of England.
So why am I doing this crazy thing? Because as someone who's suffered from mental health issues, I know how difficult life can seem, so to have resources available if you need someone looking out for you, can be invaluable. Inspired by Mental Health Awareness Week, I looked to find something that I could do to raise funds that didn't involve anything too strenuous and found the NESD..... instead, I'm going to join 1000+ people in baring all and rushing into the North Sea at sunrise.....in late September!
