Story
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. On Sunday 27th April 2025 I will be completing the TCS London Marathon, in aid of The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House.
As I edge closer to my 40th birthday it is time to start ticking things off my bucket list and the London Marathon is something I have always wanted to do. I currently only do the weekly 2k Junior ParkRun with my six year old daughter, so I definitely need to up my training.
I have chosen the Hospice as I have lived in King's Lynn all of my life and the Hospice is locally renowned for their exemplary care and compassion. Caring for patients and their families through all stages of their illness. They support people with a range of illnesses such as Parkinson's, Motor Neurone Disease, heart failure, kidney failure and Huntington's disease. It costs £4.1 million a year to run, with less than a third of that funded by the NHS.
In the 'run up' to the marathon, I am also signing myself up to a few other challenges along the way to ensure I really earn the money people donate and will hopefully keep adding to. I will update you all along the way.
I have set my target at £2000 and would love to reach this for the Hospice. Your donation will enable the Hospice to continue providing this invaluable service for our neighbours, friends and family in the future. Please can you help me smash my target by giving what you can.
Thank you so much.
