On Sunday September 17, 2023 I am running the Altrincham 10K to help raise awareness and vital funds for Visyon, a charity that supports the emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families across Cheshire East.

In our increasingly connected world a growing number of young people feel disconnected and isolated. Anxiety, stress, low mood, anger and self-harm are just some of the mental health issues they face, all of which are impacting on their day to day lives, relationships and behaviour. 

By proving individual counselling, group therapy, mentoring and wellbeing initiatives, Visyon plays a critical role in helping change lives.

Thermal Road Repairs wants to help Visyon continue its incredible work supporting youths in our local community - and I hope by stepping out of my comfort zone and participating in this challenging run, I can contribute to our fundraising efforts and help make a difference too!
