Story
This year's Vintage Tractor Road Run is in aid of the Stroke Association. This is a 3 day event where a group of 30+ vintage tractors and their drivers will make their way through the beautiful Cheshire countryside, and North Wales hills using off road tracks and green lanes. They start on Friday 1st May from Davenham and make their way to Llangollen, day 2 is spent travelling through the Welsh countryside and day 3, they make their way back to Davenham; approximately an 180 mile round trip.
Alex and his team have chosen the Stroke Association after a close family member suffered from a severe stroke almost 3 years ago. It's not until something like this happens within your family or friendship network, do you realise how many people are affected by a loved one having a stroke.
When stroke strikes, part of the brain shuts down. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. The Stroke Association specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can help to rebuild even more lives.
We're aimimg to raise a minimum of £1000; please, if you are able, we would appreciate donations. Every little helps.
Thank you in advance.
Alex & team.
