Story
Children with Cancer UK is a charity very close to my heart after my daughter's friend died just shortly before his 8th birthday 🌻💛
On 13th February 2024 I had major surgery to remove a lemon sized mass from my lung and ran the London Marathon just 9 1/2 weeks later. The next challenge is the Berlin Marathon on 29th September.
I’m currently experiencing some strange neurological symptoms - pins and needles/pain/numbness in my feet, fatigue, cramps etc and the doctors are thinking it may be Multiple Sclerosis but I’m waiting for tests for confirmation. This additional set back won’t stop me, I’ll keep pushing on! 💪🔥
I want to show people that despite adversity and setbacks in life, if you continue to put one for in front of the other, not matter how fast or slow, you can achieve ANYTHING!
EDIT: 3 generations of ‘Team Edwards’ ranging from 7 - 78 years old are taking on the Westminster Mile on Sept 21st 2024 raising funds for Children with Cancer UK. They have kindly agreed for any donations in support of them to be added to this ongoing total 🥰
No child should ever have to suffer cancer and no parent should ever lose a child. I will continue supporting this charity and their vision of a world where every child and young person survives cancer.
Thank you so much for all of your support 🎗🧡💜
