This September, I’m taking on a personal challenge to cycle 200km as part of the Great Garden Route Trek, raising money to help feed vulnerable children in South Africa. 🚴‍♀️🇿🇦

Poverty and hunger have a devastating impact on young children, particularly when they don’t receive the nutrition they need to grow, learn and thrive.

The wonderful thing is that just £20 can provide a child with a bowl of fortified and enriched e’Pap porridge every school day for an entire year.

So this is how I’m looking at my 200km challenge:

10p per kilometre × 200km = £20 = one child fed for a whole school year.

If you would like to sponsor my ride, whether it’s 10p a kilometre, more or less — every contribution will help turn those kilometres into nutritious meals for children who really need them.
