After the exhausting experience of completing the London Marathon in 2017, I vowed never to run again. Yet, here I am, having succumbed to peer pressure I have signed up for the Royal Parks half marathon.

I might be older but I am not wiser, my training is more of a concept than a firmly stuck to plan. Anything you are able to donate will give me the kick to get off the sofa and put my trainers. I fully embrace that I will finish the run looking like a tomato, but hopefully having not fallen over and still being able to breath.

I am running/jogging/walking for a very important cause. The Evelina London Children's Charity supports the incredible work of Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Their pioneering care transforms lives and brings hope to sick children, young people, and their families during their most challenging times. Every pound raised will contribute to this vital mission, helping Evelina London continue to provide exceptional care and support.
