Some of the members of Brave BRAVO Watch from Atherstone Fire station in Warwickshire will be lacing up their hiking boots and taking on the gruelling challenge of walking from Polesworth Fire station to Shipston Fire Station in August 2025 to raise money for the Firefighters Charity.

They have chosen (bullied into it by Nicki) to challenge themselves by walking from the most northern Fire Station in Warwickshire to the most southern, 45 miles in total. This will not be an easy feat to undertake, none of them like walking or blisters, their map reading skills will be tested to the limit and I am sure their patience will be too as it is expected to take them in excess of 16 hours to complete!!

They are doing this in order to raise money for this fantastic charity which offers a range of support services for firefighters and their families, including physical and mental health support, rehabilitation services and financial assistance. They focus on helping those in the Fire and Rescue community recover and thrive after challenging experiences.
