The IMF uses running to drive social change and celebrate Indigenous resilience and achievement. Each year IMF selects a squad of 12 Indigenous men and women to train in just six months to run the New York City Marathon, with little or no prior running experience. The squad also completes a Certificate III in Fitness to provide ongoing education and career pathways and return to their communities as inspirational role models to encourage active and healthy lifestyles.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am thrilled to be fundraising for the Indigenous Marathon Foundation, an organization that empowers and supports Indigenous Australians through running. As a passionate runner myself, I believe in the transformative power of sport and its ability to bring communities together.

Unfortunately, many Indigenous Australians face significant barriers when it comes to accessing sports programs and opportunities. The Indigenous Marathon Foundation is working hard to change that by providing training, mentorship, and support to Indigenous runners across Australia. By donating today, you can help make a real difference in the lives of these individuals and their communities.

My goal is to raise $500 AUD for this incredible cause. Every donation counts - no matter how big or small - and will go directly towards supporting the Indigenous Marathon Foundation's important work. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
