Raising money for an amazing charity that supports colleagues from the industry that I love. I have spent 30 years in the booze trade, enjoying a rewarding career, and the last five I have been working with a small team of passionate and talented people, dedicated to supporting our colleagues in their time of need.

The Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation via the Drinks Trust, provides financial, emotional and practical support to colleagues in need of a friendly hand and I am very proud to be raising some money to help them continue their work. Usually, as head of charity services, I am in charge of spending the money - now it’s my turn to help raise it!!

Throughout the years, The Drinks Trust has been supported by funds raised through the Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation and I had the honour of working with Michael Hasslacher, one of their founders, a quietly kind and gentle man who will be missed.

I am walking 10 miles through London to honour Michael, to thank our colleagues at The Wine Trade Sports Club for everything they do for us, and to raise money for The Drinks Trust.
