Story
MND is indiscriminate. It can occur at any age, but most frequently it is diagnosed in people between the age of 50-70. The disease is rapid and debilitating. There is no cure yet, but donations to this amazing organization assist in costs for care and the ongoing research into finding a cure.
Please help our team to raise funds for this worthy charity.
Parks for Purpose - Help us Defeat Motor Neurone Disease
This October, 15 of us from across the Aventum Group will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon - a stunning 13.1 mile route throughout the heart of London, weaving through four of the capital’s most iconic Royal Parks and past some world-famous landmarks like Buckingham Palace and the London Eye.
But we aren’t running for the views.
We are running to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), a charity that provides vital care, research and support for people living with MND and their families.
This cruel, life-shortening condition currently has no cure, but with your help, we can make a difference. Every donation will help MNDA continue their incredible work. Your support will help fund specialist care, groundbreaking research and campaigns to ensure the voices of those affected by MND are heard.
Training for the marathon is no easy feat, but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by those living with MND. So, we are lacing up, hitting the streets and pushing through each step with a purpose.
