Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page, in memory of my beautiful Mum, Pat Marston.

My Mum was the bravest person I have ever known. In July, 2021 she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic bowel cancer. Mum fought so hard; 26 rounds of chemo and never ever complained and was always so positive. On Thursday, 5th January, 2023, Mum finally stopped fighting and passed away in her sleep.

The Chemotherapy Unit at Burton Hospital is just full of the kindest, loveliest people. Mum used to love her trips to Chemo where she would catch up with Sister Sue and her wonderful team of Angels.

I’m running the London Marathon this month in memory of my beautiful Mum and for my wonderful Dad, John, who also has cancer and to hopefully raise some money for the Chemotherapy Unit at Burton Hospital.
