In 2022 we adopted our son through adoption agency Family Care. This agency approves prospective adoptive parents, supports them through the family finding process and plays a big part in the first few weeks when a child is placed with their forever family.

Family Care also organise a number of family events throughout the year to bring adoptive families together and provide opportunities for children and parents to form friendships with others who share similar beginnings in life.

They also do lifestory work with older children and young people to help them understand their story.

Fundraising a few bob to say thank you and to support their ongoing work in the adoption community in Northern Ireland.
