I am excited to be embarking on an incredible journey to Trek the Great Wall of China on 19 September 2026, driven by a heartfelt mission to support Julia's House. This remarkable charity provides vital, flexible care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, offering their families much-needed respite and hope. I have been to visit Julia's House seeing the amazing place it is. From the minute the door opened I could feel the warmth and love of all the staff. They all have one special goal- to make sure every child they welcome feel loved, safe and able to live happily as all children should.

Julia's House faces the immense challenge of raising 93% of its annual funding through generous donations to keep these essential services running. The need for compassionate support has never been greater, and every contribution helps ensure that these children and their families receive the care they deserve.

By joining this trek, my aim is to try and raise £2,500 + to make a meaningful difference Your kind sponsorship will bring comfort and joy where it is needed most. All my fundraising will go to Julia's House as I am self -funding my trip.

The new hiking boots are bought and the training begins especially 'climbing steps' as I believe there are ' a lot ' . My promise is that i will give my 100% to this Trek and to raise the money that is needed so greatly.
