I’m running the Brighton Marathon to support The Majestic Charitable Foundation, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. As a board member of the charity, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work it does, supporting a wide range of organisations that make a real difference in local communities.

The foundation supports three key charities, each making a significant impact:

1. The Brain Tumour Charity – The world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Their work includes funding pioneering research, raising awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours, and providing vital support for patients and their families. Their goal is to double survival rates and halve the harm caused by brain tumours.

2. Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) – A charity dedicated to preventing suicide, the leading cause of death among men under 45 in the UK. CALM provides a free and confidential helpline and webchat service, as well as challenging stigma, promoting mental health awareness, and advocating for greater mental health support nationwide.

3. Child Bereavement UK – Supporting families facing the devastating loss of a child or young person. They offer confidential guidance, information, and support for bereaved families and also educate professionals to ensure families receive the best possible care in the aftermath of a loss.

By raising funds, I hope to contribute to the incredible work these charities do, helping them provide life-changing support to those in need. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards making a difference.
