Maggie's Merseyside needs your support now more than ever. We are here supporting people with cancer and their families who are worried and anxious that their treatment plan might be changed and wondering what coronavirus means for them.

Story

On 16th May, my wonderful sister Suzy would have celebrated her 40th birthday. Those who knew her will know that she would not have let this milestone go unmarked, so neither can I.

Together with my lifelong pals Kat and Ann, I will walk 40km along the beautiful coastal landscape of south Wales on 15th May. Suzy loved nature and was never one to shy away from a challenge so I know she would approve!

Suzy died 9 months after we were blindsided by her bowel cancer diagnosis when she was 36. Nothing can prepare you for being struck with such horrifying news in the prime of your life but the wonderful charity, Maggie’s, were there with support when Suzy needed them and I will always be grateful to them.

These are difficult times financially for many, but if Suz was a part of your life, maybe you would have bought her a birthday drink, or maybe you just want to support a fantastic charity, then all donations will go directly to Maggie’s.

Thanks all ❤️

Nikki xx
