Story
In the summer of 2026, I’ll be taking on the toughest cycling challenge of my life: riding every stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFAZ), just one day ahead of the professionals. Yes, every single stage. In the final year of my 40s. What could possibly go wrong?
I’ve done a fair few tough rides before, but this will push me further than anything I’ve tackled to date. Add in perimenopause mood swings, sugar binges, and the general chaos of training while juggling full time work and it’s safe to say this journey will be as entertaining as it is gruelling. Feel free to follow along for the highs, lows, and snack stops.
But behind the laughs and the Lycra is a serious reason why I’m doing this. Over the years, cancer has touched close family and friends, and I want to use this milestone year to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia.
Every pound raised will go directly to Cure Leukaemia, the official UK charity partner of the TdFFAZ, supporting the revolutionary ATICUS Network. This groundbreaking work is giving children with blood cancer access to clinical trials and treatments that simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise and offering hope to families across the UK.
It’s also important to say that my place on this challenge is entirely self-funded. So every penny you donate goes straight to the charity.
My goal is to raise £10,000. With your support, we can make sure no child has to face this battle alone.
So please, get behind me as I pedal my way through training, tears, and more than a few packets of Percy Pigs — all the way to the final stage. Together, we can make a real difference.
