This August, our dedicated Neonatal team is once again taking on the Dundee Kiltwalk to raise funds for a very special cause- the creation of a therapeutic garden for families in the maternity and neonatal units at Ninewells hospital.

We have two teams taking part this year- the NICU Dilly Dalliers walking the 4 mile route and the Miles of Smiles team walking the 20 mile route.

Thanks to partial funding from the Scottish government Greenspace, we’re closer than ever to turning our vision into a reality. This outdoor space will offer a peaceful sanctuary for parents and families navigating the emotional and often overwhelming journey of maternity and neonatal care. Access to nature, even in small doses, has shown to reduce stress, improve mental wellbeing, and provide a sense of calm and connection during difficult times.
