As a South African living in the UK, I am frequently left with a sense of guilt for not giving back to the incredible country that gave me everything. This is a small way, through my love of running, to make a big difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children in South Africa and I am so grateful for the support!

The Starfish Foundation does incredible work in South Africa by supporting children who have been made vulnerable or orphaned by HIV/AIDS.

Due to the AIDS pandemic there is a generation of children growing up in South Africa without parental support, relying on increasingly strained communities. These children are exceptionally vulnerable to neglect and abuse.

All the work Starfish does is focussed on achieving the highest impact at the lowest cost. Through grassroots partnerships Starfish currently delivers healthcare, education and child protection programmes across South Africa.
