Story
On 11th July me and my friend Bill will be taking on our first ultra marathon 50k at Race to the Stones in Oxfordshire.
Since signing up for this event last year, my beautiful mother-in-law was sadly diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), also known as ALS. MND is a progressive disease that affects the brain and nerves, causing the muscles in the body to weaken over time. It affects how people walk, talk, eat and breathe, and sadly there is currently no cure.
I’ve decided to fundraise for Farleigh Hospice because the care and support they have given my mother-in-law has been amazing.
Sadly we know our time together is limited and I would love for her to be able to see us give something back to the hospice through her name, helping Farleigh continue supporting other families who are going through similar situations.
Thank you for supporting us whilst we take on this huge challenge ❤️
