Story
I’ve experienced the heart-wrenching loss of close family members to cancer, and as a mother, I am deeply moved by the reality that every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words "you have cancer".
This diagnosis is not just a medical challenge; it threatens to take away everything they hold dear – their identity, their independence, and their dreams.
That’s why I am participating in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 on April 12th, 2026. I am running to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need. They provide specialist nurses, youth support teams, and hospital units within the NHS to ensure that young people receive the very best care and support during treatment and beyond. Their work is crucial in making sure that cancer doesn’t stop these brave individuals from living their lives fully.
. Together, we can raise £1,000 to support Teenage Cancer Trust in their fight against this devastating disease. Your contribution will help ensure that no young person faces cancer alone.
