Story

💜 For everyone we’ve lost… and everyone still fighting 💜

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Cancer has affected my life in more ways than I can count. I lost my brother to Leukaemia, my grandad to Lung Cancer, two friends to Breast Cancer, and another friend to Bowel Cancer.

But cancer hasn’t only brought loss — it has also shown me strength.

My amazing son Matthew beat Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and in 2023 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer… and I’m proud to say I beat it too. 💪

Right now, my son’s friend Rob has been fighting Testicular Cancer for almost 4 years, which is another reminder that this disease touches far too many lives.

So Charlotte and I have decided to do something that pushes me (not so much her 😂 ) out of my comfort zone…

We are taking part in the Clatterbridge Abseil to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

Clatterbridge supports so many people and families going through the toughest battles of their lives, and the work they do truly matters.

If you can spare even a few pounds, it would mean the world. Every donation helps support patients and families facing cancer.

Please donate if you can and help me make a difference. Even £3 or £5 makes a difference — if lots of people give a little, together we can raise something amazing. Cancer affects us all… but together we can help fight it.

I’m doing this for the people I wish were still here, and for those who are still fighting their battle today.

Cancer changed my life — now I’m fighting back.
