UPDATE:

Due to a slight setback and following medical advice Nicola has been advised to postpone her run due to some injuries occurring during her training. Nicola still has every determination to complete a 10K in the near future - but obviously her health has to be her priority. Hope that you can all understand as this is not a decision that Nicola has taken lightly. Thanks everyone xxxx

This year our inspirational Nicola has decided to run her 1st 10K on her new legs in memory of Gaz!

Gareth died in 2013 leaving a massive hole in everyone's life.

His favourite charity which he donated to was RNLI Holyhead.

For those who know 'Our Nic' she is one of the most determined women you will ever meet. Nicola is another life and soul of the party, who despite becoming a double amputee in 2019 has always been adamant that nothing would stop her and once she sets her mind to something, she does it!

So on Sunday 7th June she is running.... yes running!!.. The Tameside 10K in memory of Gareth Thomas Todd. AKA: Gaz, Toddy Jr.

RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
