Essex & Herts Air Ambulance are Stonebond Properties (St Albans) chosen charity for 2024.

Neil Sperrin, Technical Director from Stonebond Properties (St Albans), is fundraising to Support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance in their annual fundraising, by cycling in Ride Across Britain, from Lands End to John O Groats - 9 days, 980 miles, 800 riders, from 7-15th September 2024.

This is Neil's fourth consecutive year that he has ridden this event.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance rely on the generosity of the people and businesses in Essex and Hertfordshire to keep saving lives.

The average cost per mission is £2,800.

The average costs for fuel per flying hour is £145.

It costs £1 million every month to keep both helicopters flying and to cover all charitable costs.

On average EHAT treat over 1,00 patients every year.

On average their critical care team are dispatched six times a day.

This coincides with Air Ambulance Week which takes off across the UK from 4-10th September 2024, with air ambulance charities across the UK delivering the message that Air Ambulance charities can't save lives without you!
