Story
I am Standing up to Seizures this Purple Day and supporting the vital work of the Epilepsy Society. Please donate generously!
Ben was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 13. It got progressively worse and in the summer of 2018 he went to the London hospital for a week to see if he could have the operation to cure his epilepsy. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible .He continued to have fits and when he turned 21the fits stopped. Darryn (his dad.) also suffered from epilepsy.
Unfortunately we lost Darryn in October 2010 and Ben died in April 2024 (not caused by epilepsy)
on the 23rd of March, Me and my family and as many of their friends who would like to join us will be walking 2.6 miles around Ebley and the surrounding areas ,starting from the family home in Ebley and finishing on the memorial bench for Ben and Darryn in victory Park. In addition, we will be hosting an online quiz through WhatsApp.(date and time to be arranged.)
