Firewalk 2024
Campaign by One25 (RCN 1062391)
A barefoot walk across 20 feet of 670C embers to raise vital funds and awareness.

Story

My friend Marissa, asked if any friends wanted to join her to walk on hot embers, ‘firewalk’, to raise money for marginalised women in Bristol. I hesitated to reply to her WhatsApp at first, as I’m scared of burning my feet, which though gnarly, do function okay as feet. But then I decided to be brave and join her.

So here I am, asking you to donate to see me hop scotch over hot embers whilst helping traumatised women here in Bristol have a brighter 2024.

Marissa or Izzy, as she is known by many, often inspires her pals to go out of their comfort zone. This is certainly going to be well out of mine, but is worth it to help women who have been subject to domestic violence or abuse access food, clothing and support.

Any amount will make a difference, with only £9 supporting one woman to have essentials and clothing.
