As a newbie to the North East in recent years and now proudly identifying as an "Adopted Geordie", I feel incredibly privileged to be fundraising for the wonderful charity, the Newcastle United Foundation.

In a city where everyone is welcome and celebrated, the Newcastle United Foundation supports every disability impairment and provides free in school and after school sessions (as well as adult evening sessions all over the North East). Their disability football teams play in national and international tournaments and represent the importance of football to help people realise their aspirations and take opportunities to play the game we love.

Understandably, this comes with a high cost in order to provide the excellent care and support to these individuals.

As the need for access to sessions and activity becomes greater, so does the cost to cover this. NUF currently needs around £90,000 to help do this. The more money NUF can raise, the more families they can support- and we hope you will join us in raising the awareness and funds to support this vital service

In a strenuous 3 day long trek, our amazing team of hikers will climb Mount Toubkal under the hot Moroccan sun. This climb up North Africa's highest mountain will raise vital funds for Newcastle United Foundation's disability programmes.
