Story
Pennine Care Charity is the charity partner of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. We raise funds for additional work and services not covered by the NHS core offer. Our vision is to create a happier and more hopeful life for people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism.
On the 31st May I’ll be taking on the 10k challenge in the Great Manchester Run to raise funds for the Pennine Care Charity. Mental health affects all of us, whether personally or through those we care about. I want to contribute in a small but meaningful way to improve the experience of people with severe mental health difficulties who need support on our in patient wards. Our fantastic Pennine Care people provide compassionate care but with limited resources for therapeutic activities that can make a real difference to someone’s recovery.
How your support helps
- funds go directly to Pennine Care Charities to support adult and older people’s mental health wards
- your donation will help purchase well being resources and activities
- every pound raised will help create more engaging, supportive environments for our patients
Thank you so much for your support. Your generosity will make a real difference to the recovery of the people we care for.
