At STAND we aim to include, support and empower neurodivergent children and their families.

Story

As we don our kilts and lace up our walking boots, we are filled with a sense of purpose and determination. On September 14, 2025, we will take part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise funds for STAND, an organization dedicated to supporting children and young people in our local communities.

Every step we take is not just a stride towards the finish line; it is a step towards creating brighter futures for those who need it most. The challenges faced by these young individuals can often feel overwhelming, but together, we can make a significant impact. Your support will help provide essential resources and opportunities that empower them to thrive.

My son Ethan is 14 and is autistic. We as a family have found that these services are vital in the support and development of our children and young people so they learn socialisation skills and also life skills.

We invite you to join us on this journey. By contributing to our fundraising goal of £300, you are not just donating; you are investing in hope and change. Let’s walk together for a cause that truly matters.
