Nicola's fundraiser for Vale Wildlife Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre

Nicola Topper is raising money for Vale Wildlife Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre

Team: Carole, Nic and Kathryn are skydiving for Vale Wildlife Rescue & Winston's Wish!

Tandem Skydive · 1 August 2025

Vale Wildlife was set up in 1984 to help the many thousands of mammals and birds injured in the UK every year. The main aim is to treat and rehabilitate casualties and release them back into the wild once fully recovered. We have full veterinary facilities within the Hospital. Registered Charity.

Story

On the 1st August 2025, we are jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane - literally taking a leap — by doing a skydive to raise money for the incredible work of Vale Wildlife Rescue, a charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife across the UK.

Every year, Vale cares for thousands of animals — from hedgehogs and foxes to owls and badgers — giving them a second chance at life in the wild. Their team works tirelessly, around the clock, to provide expert veterinary care, rehabilitation, and safe release.

This skydive is both terrifying and exciting for us, but knowing it will help support such a vital cause makes every nerve-jangling second worth it!

This has been on my personal bucket list for years.

Please consider donating whatever you can — every pound makes a difference.

Your support will help fund medical supplies, food, shelter, and all the resources needed to care for our precious wildlife.

🐾 Thank you for helping us help them — let's do something amazing together! 🐾
