Story
In June 2019 I lost my dad to cancer, then in December 2019 I lost my uncle also to cancer, then in 2020 I lost my aunt. It was a tough few years for our family but we got through it and also with the support from Macmillan.
When my dad passed away I was in a bad place with my feelings and myself, I was over weight I wasn’t happy then I decided to join a local bootcamp and start the couch to 5k this is where my love for running begun.
I am very honoured to be running the London marathon 2024 for Macmillan cancer support but also to be running for my family and making each and everyone of them so very proud.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising any donations are so greatly appreciated.
Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
