Story
What a year for an incredible challenge. Zac has turned 40 and has decided to throw himself out of a plane. Some might call this a midlife crisis, others may think he is finally brave...I personally like to think he has been inspired by my many fundraising challenges over the years and has finally decided to compete with me.
HOWEVER, not to be outdone by Zac's willingness to take on the wildest of challenges, I will also be joining him in throwing myself out of an aeroplane at 12,000ft (that is high!!). What makes this even more incredible is that I am absolutely terrified of heights (I feel sick even writing about this challenge).
But why, on 4th July, are we doing this I hear you ask.... we are taking on this challenge firstly to prove that we are still young and fun, but secondly and more importantly to raise vital funds for Ronald McDonald House.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free 'home away from home' accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their sick or injured child during their treatment, to maintain a degree of normal family life.
As an independent charity, they rely on the generosity of our wonderful supporters who go above and beyond to help us keep thousands of families close to their sick children each year. Some of those amazing individuals are even braving the highest heights by skydiving all in the name of our families!
Please help us to keep more families close to their sick children in hospital by donating and supporting the 2026 Skydive Weekend.
