My Mum. My best friend and my Rock. With no symptoms at all Mum went for a routine appointment for ear ache. Mum was referred for an MRI scan and that sadly found some abnormalities. Further tests revealed three brain tumours, shocking. Mum was otherwise very fit and healthy, just a couple of weeks before having enjoyed a lovely weekend in London, walking along the river to Tower Bridge and enjoying a lovely lunch. After her diagnosis she underwent a brain biopsy, several rounds of chemotherapy, but it couldn’t cure it. Mum stayed strong and kept going, out in her garden, which she loved and enjoying time with her family. But sadly the disease progressed quickly, but through it all she kept her beautiful smile and found a way to communicate with us all through her spirit and determination. Sadly we lost Mum just 5 months after her diagnosis. We are all devastated.

No one should have to go through this, nor should any family have to watch their loved ones go through this.

Please let’s raise some funds for this horrible disease which is so under funded and needs to be cured.
