I have been selected to participate in Trek for Health.

In February 2027, I will have the opportunity to visit Save the Children and Amref

Health Africa programmes in Kenya. I will also take on a 7-day challenge to climb to the summit of Mount Kenya.

As one of 40 employees taking on this challenge across GSK & ViiV, representing 19 countries, I am motivated by community. Together we aim to raise over $340,000 CAD/£180,000 for Amref and Save the Children, with all proceeds being matched by GSK.

I recognize that the opportunities I have benefited from, including access to healthcare, are grounded in collective effort. When I learned about Trek for Health, I quickly recognized how closely this gratitude aligns with Amref’s value of ubuntu— the belief of a shared humanity – “I am because we are”.

I am proud to take on this challenge, supporting our global health partners, but it would not be possible without your support. Together WE can make a lasting difference.
