Our beautiful Mum , everyone's JJ , left us far too soon , we had so much still to do together. She had so much more love to give , more to smile and laugh about and new family members yet to meet.

The Giant's Causeway Marathon Hike seemed the right thing to do in Mum's honour. It represents all that she loved; the great outdoors, nature, fresh air and stunning scenery. We know she will be with us and her granddaughters every step of those 26 miles, willing us up those cliffs!

We'd like to raise money to help others get the much needed support we did at such a sad and tough time. Sadly cancer will affect us all in some way. Macmillan offer a huge range of services to support both the patient and their families.

Our wonderful Mum showed us how to take one of life's greatest blows with dignity and grace. A loving, caring, strong and courageous lady, who is missed beyond words. How lucky we were to have her.
