Trek for Tomorrow 2025 · 7 September 2025 ·

We’ll walk for those we’ve lost. We’ll walk to celebrate those who've survived. And we’ll walk to smash the stigma around suicide and get people talking. This isn’t a walk in the park - it’s a life-changing (and life-saving) trek.

Story

Date: September 7th 2025

Challenge: Walk 30k in 24 hours in the Peak District with Danny Jones from McFly

In memory of: Martin Scott, who sadly took his own life in July 2023

After losing Martin to suicide, I felt compelled to spread the word and raise awareness of the importance of mental health and conversations around intrusive thoughts. In the past two years, my relationship with my own mental health has suffered and I continue to try and muddle my way through life, now that PTSD and depression walk alongside me. I know first-hand just how hard it is to admit you're struggling and ask for company or help. I hope that in taking on this challenge, I can strengthen my own confidence but the confidence of those around me too. ❤️

About CALM: Campaign Against Living Miserably are a suicide prevention charity. They've got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.

£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
