Story
Last year I ran the Philly half marathon for my grandpa. When he passed this summer, he was the third beloved grandparent I've lost to cancer. Cancer impacts us all - from family and friends, to the healthcare workers and researchers providing vital treatment and support to eradicate this horrible disease.
This year I'm honoring all three of them by running in a city that, like Philly, has a special place in my heart: London! And I've picked an incredible cause. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is a global leader in cancer care - pioneering treatment and groundbreaking research to help improve the lives of all those impacted by cancer. While I can't guarantee I'll beat last year's time, I'd love to beat last year's fundraising, and am hoping to raise $4k (£3k) for Marsden.
Whether you knew Frank, Dee, or Big Bob, you've gone on a "marathon" shopping spree on the King's Road or knees up at Mahiki with me, or simply want to help get rid of cancer, I'd be so grateful for your support.
xox,
