A group of us are setting out to walk 21.5 miles on 16th September (from Whitby to Scarborough). This is to raise money for Yorkshire’s brain tumour charity. A charity which is close to our hearts, as it supports our friends’ mum (Vicki) who is currently living with brain tumours.

Brain Tumours can affect anyone, at any time. They are the single biggest killer of the under 40s in the UK.

Every week approximately 15 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in Yorkshire.

Research has been underfunded for brain tumours, with current treatments nearly 40 years old.

Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity aims to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find treatments and a cure.

Whilst we do that we will provide support to people living with and affected by brain tumours, emotionally, practically and financially for as long as they need us.
