As a member of GSOFCT staff, a Lifetime Girl Scout, a former youth member for 7 years, and a troop leader for my daughter for the past 9 years, Girl Scouting has become an integral part of who I am. The organization has provided me and others with unique opportunities for personal and professional growth, including exploring a variety of topics through badge work, learning important financial skills through cookie sales, and experiencing different cultures and places through travel. Moreover, Girl Scouts has offered us the chance to build lifelong friendships and relationships with strong women mentors and to empower girls to become leaders and inspire others.
