At 19 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face, and there were moments I wasn’t sure how I’d get through it. I was incredibly lucky to have the support i had from my family, friends, and even kind strangers, I found strength I didn’t know I had.

Now, I’m taking on this run again for Cancer Research Wales to give back, to raise awareness, and to help fund vital research that gives people like me a fighting chance.

I’ve learned that no matter how tough life gets, with a positive attitude, the right mindset, and the support of others, everything will be okay. This run is for everyone affected by cancer — those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and those celebrating life after it.
