Story
I'm taking part in 62 miles in October 2025 to help keep active and help raise vital funds to help stroke survivors find strength through support.
Its a charity close to my heart quite literally. I had a stroke back in 2020 due to a PFO (hole in the heart). A popular thing that many of us have and go undetected. Most people live healthy lives but the unlucky few can experience a stroke like I did.
I'm extremely lucky that I managed to make a full recovery. Surviving a stroke is just the start of a long and gruelling recovery journey.
I managed to run a half marathon last weekend so I want to continue with the challenges. Who knows where it could take me. 🏃🏼♀️
