Did you know the government does not fund the equipment in our hospitals?

One of the things Nicole and our family are most grateful for is the incredible care she has received at both GBGH and RVH. This would not be possible without people supporting our hospitals through donations.

But did you also know that currently GBGH is fundraising for an MRI ($4M) so that those needing this important diagnostic tool can access it close to home with shorter wait times?

And if you can believe it… GBGH currently does not have a mammography machine!

Our very dear friends Conrad and Donna Huber have made a commitment of $1M to support the MRI and the ADDITION OF A MAMMOGRAPHY MACHINE at GBGH. How amazing for cancer diagnosis right here in our own community.

As we said in the invite, Nicole just wants to spend time with friends and family and those who have supported her and us during the most difficult year. Stage 4 Cancer sucks, but it has brought many gifts along with it. The gift of slowing down and choosing to create memories that will last a lifetime.

So, please no gifts or cards. If you would like to do something, a donation to ensure we bring MRI and Mammography to GBGH would be so appreciated.
