Story
Our very good mate and cycling pal Nick Agius, AKA The Falcon, recently fractured his vertebrae. On further investigation in hospital he has been diagnosed with Myeloma. Myeloma is a blood cancer, that is currently incurable but is very treatable. Nick has received incredible treatment from the NHS and has shown awesome positivity and bravery under awful circumstances.
To show support to Nick, a group of his mates: Nielsen Harrap, Simon Holmes, Tom Hough, Tim Holmes, Rob Graham, Nick Peters, Chris Collins, Chris West, Nick Rowe, Gary Waller, Gavin Pollock, Andy Adshead, Mike Gates, Paul Dempsey, Mariusz Ciosek, Matt Sessler, Geoff Lloyd, Tom Gage & Will Cody are cycling the Newdigeddon 322km to raise money for Myeloma UK to raise awareness and support research into this rare cancer. This will be a brutal 322km (200 miles), 25 loops of our local race circuit, climbing 2,500m all in one day taking 12-14 hours! We also have others who have confirmed joining for a few loops of this momentous undertaking to help us on our way!
We have no monetary target and will be happy with whatever anyone can spare for this amazing cause and to show support for our mate Nick as he begins his battle with Myeloma.
