Story
Hi my name is Nieve and I am trekking up to Machu Picchu in Peru in aid of Hft, an amazing charity that helps to transform the lives of learning disabled adults.
This challenge is something I never even considered possible, it’s definitely a bucket list opportunity! I’m excited to prove the seemingly impossible possible, something that the team at Hft does daily through their incredible work. It is my mission to do everything I can to go above and beyond to fundraise for this charity. They run some great programmes, including Luv2meetU which helps set people who are learning disabled up on dates, which can be supported from as little as £25, all the way up to providing adapted bikes, giving people the chance to exercise and be outside, which cost £500 to buy, and so much more.
Everyone deserves the chance to live life to the fullest, which is why I am so glad to have been partnered with this charity. Any donation that you can make is so greatly appreciated, and helps motivate me as I prepare to take on the great heights of the Salkantay Trek, climbing up to 4650m above sea level, before I make it to Machu Picchu.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and an even bigger thank you if you choose to donate!
