The Race for Life Poole · 3 June 2023

WMUK is the only charity in the UK focused solely on Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia (WM), a rare type of blood cancer. Our goal is to improve the quality of life and survival of people with WM by providing support, and ultimately finding a cure.

Story

Hi - and thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

In October, I received devastating news: I was diagnosed with Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinaemia (WM), a rare, incurable blood cancer affecting approximately 400 people annually in the UK.

Since then, my family and I have been fortunate to find solace and support through WMUK, a brilliant charity helping patients like me come to terms with their diagnosis and navigate life with this challenging cancer.

Now, I'm determined to make a difference. On 3 June 2023, I will be participating in the Race for Life event in Poole alongside my incredible wife and four sons.

We are running to raise funds for WMUK, to ensure others facing this diagnosis can find the same support and guidance our family has found invaluable. But we can't do it alone. We need your help.

Your sponsorship would not only fuel our determination but also provide vital resources for WMUK to continue their crucial work. Together, we can make a tangible impact on the lives of those affected by WM.

Please consider supporting us in this race against time. Any contribution you can kindly make will take us a step closer to making sure anyone diagnosed with Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinaemia can access the support they need and never face it alone.
