Story
We are 9 colleagues and friends from the Tesco Middlesbrough DC. Barry Parker, Sean McAllister, Rob Mean, Andrew Harrison, Joseph Cooke, Darren Hill, Dean Oddy, Emily Beedle and our driver Ste Stubbs.
We've decided to take on the National Three Peaks challenge which means we'll be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden all within a 24 hour period. We'll start by climbing Ben Nevis at 5pm on 7th September 2023, driving onwards to Scafell Pike and then finishing with Snowden at 5pm on 8th September.
We've already started training by completing the north east 3 peaks and the Yorkshire 3 peaks and will soon be doing a night time hike.
We are raising money for a wonderful local charity called Zoë's Place and would really appreciate your support for this amazing cause and will update you with our journey along the way.
Zoё's Place is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies aged from birth to five years with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This care is provided in a caring, safe, home-from-home environment in our hospice in Middlesbrough. We have no catchment area and provide this care completely free of charge for families throughout the UK.
Without the help and support from the general public it would not be possible to open our doors to our babies and their families.
Thank you for your support.
