Story

Nik had an extensive career and throughout this has helped change the lives of so many people.

One area of his work that meant so much to him was through his volunteering at Children and Families in Grief (CFG) where he worked from 2014 for four years.

CFG is a small charity in South Devon who support children and their families with emotional support following a bereavement.

Nik loved volunteering for CFG and spent many years giving his time because he knew the impact he could have alongside his colleagues with the children.

One of the families Nik supported through CFG said “I first met Nik through CFG when i had lost my husband to suicide and my mum to cancer, he was a lovely gentleman and my son instantly formed a connection with him and he felt safe to be open with how he was feeling about the loss of his dad and nan. Nik helped him so much and we will be forever grateful to him for his time and advice on how to cope with his grief”.

Please feel free to donate anything you would like to in memory of Nik. All donations will be used to give children, young people and their families bereavement counselling and support following the death of a significant person.
