Hi! My name is Nikhil Patel and I am a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at The Royal Marsden. I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 8th October in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

This is an incredible organisation that raises money for the sole purpose of supporting The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. Receiving a diagnosis of cancer is a life-changing event, and this places immense strain on patients as well as their loved ones. Support is needed for patients and their families at every step of this difficult journey.
